WE LOVE NANO BREW!

NANO IS THE KEY TO TRULY DISTINCTIVE CRAFT BEER.

With a maximum capacity of 35 gallons per batch, the glory of the nano brew style is every brew day is a totally new craft beer experiment. We can throw all sorts of wacky stuff in the kettle and see what comes out! If it’s good, we keep fine-tuning it. If not, it goes down the drain. So, every time you visit is a brand new adventure! We can go wild using our nano system to debut new suds every week!

SMALL BATCH CRAFT BREWS

USING THE FINEST INGREDIENTS

Our small batch craft brews change constantly.

Don’t get your heart set on one - it might not be ready and it might be gone!

Here’s the beers that rotate in and out of our kettles …

STONYMAN CREAM ALE - 5.1% ABV

Cream ale, the bastard son of German lagers and English ales, was invented in America in the 1800s - an ale that drinks like a lager. You might be wondering if there’s cream in a cream ale. Fair question! There isn’t. This is clean, refreshing, silky, rich, quaffable lawnmower beer.

OTTER CALYPSO SMaSH IPA - 7.1% ABV

Single Malt and Single Hops (SMaSH) — We googled Otter and we googled Calypso — here’s what we found — Calypso (no, sorry, not the Goddess of the sea Calypso — the hops)! Calypso hops brings seductive apple, pear and stone fruit flavors with hints of lime to this brew. This is complex beer with dirty earthy tea notes & the legendary British Barley Otter malt backbone.

LITTLE DEVIL IMPERIAL PALE ALE - 6.3% ABV

Simone Hops shine in this straight forward American pale ale. Aroma is floral. Taste is floral, perfumy, bitter, piney & resinous with a clean finish. Otter malt backbone for balance. Medium bodied. Hints of caramel. Toasted maltiness.

SHENANDOAH WHEAT - 5.4% ABV

This American wheat brew practically screams “sunshine”. Heavy on tart citrus flavors with an atypical herbaceous quality. Way smooth and silky - this hoppy wheat ale is great for IPA fans but so smooth that the hefeweizen fans dig it too.

BLUEBEARY WHEAT - 5.9%

A fusion of traditional wheat ale with the irresistible allure of blueberries. This velvety concoction delivers a symphony of malt complexity, subtle hop bitterness and the nostalgic adventure of discovering a forest blueberry patch. Strong blueberry aroma. Flavor isn't too heavy on the blueberry, which is perfectly fine. Excellent balance. Great flavor. Decent mouthfeel. Chicks dig it.

STONED TRIPEL - 9.3% ABV

Big, beautiful golden Belgian-style Tripel opens with a bold blast of spicy hops and gives way to stone fruit aromas offered by traditional Belgian yeast and peach esters. Classically smooth and complex. Pleasantly dry finish delivers a warm, strong boozy bite.

PORTUGUESE RED EYE - 5.3% ABV

Prettay, prettay beer. Amber color with a low head of white foam, good cling & legs. Aroma is light and malty with distinct herbal hop notes. Clean and inviting to the nose. This Amber Ale shows a rich melange of toasty, nutty, caramel character with lovely mild maltiness and a slightly fiesty crisp finish.

JENKINS MOUNTAIN BROWN - 4.7% ABV

Old recipe found - you are ON Jenkins Mountain right now - sooo, of course we had to brew this recipe! As aromatic as it is aggressive, Jenkins Mountain Brown Ale drops a bready, biscuity, and toasty malt aroma with mild roastiness, and caramelly, nutty, toffee-like flavors. This kettle is brewed with troubling amounts of English Ale hops and an unapologetic attitude.

WHITE HOUSE HONEY PORTER - 6.0% ABV

Remember that day a President walked into the White House kitchen with a beer making kit and said “hey crew, let’s make a brew”? This is that recipe. Roasty sweet caramel and toasty Munich malts with moderate bitterness and 4 pounds of Shenandoah honey to dry the brew out. Dark and delicious. If you hear the word honey and think this beer is sweet, ask for a sip and we’ll show you … no sweetness in this brew at all. Remember, yeast eats sugar and turns it into alcohol! Goes well whether arguing politics or just trying to get along.

COFFEE PORTER - 6.0% ABV

This fusion of dark roasted malts and rich, cold brewed coffee warms you right up with layers of bitter, sweet, fruity, dark chocolate caramel. OMG - just smell this thing - VERY HEAVY ON THE COFFEE.

CACAO NIB STOUT - 6.3% ABV

Dark tropical Stout with a big smooth chocolatey feel, perfect for a cozy winter comfort food meal! Dark brown appearance. Thick beige head. Moderate lacing left n the glass. Stout is known for its rich and complex flavor profile that sets it apart from other types of beer. When you take a sip of stout, you’ll be greeted with notes of cocoa, coffee, and roasted malt that create a truly indulgent taste experience. The combination of toasted dark malt and roasted barley gives stouts their deep color and bold flavors.

YOU MAY ASK YOURSELF ….. What are those tall wooden pyramids out there in the field?

It’s Humulus lupulus .... Hops! This perennial vine gets up to 30' long during the season & dies back to the ground each year.

Our Hops are growing on 15 foot high trellises. Hops are very vigorous growers adding up to a foot a day!

Once the cones reach maturity, the trellis is dropped to the ground so we can harvest and make you some magnificent suds.
